We are looking for a creative and inspiring teacher to teach PYP homeroom at WAB Elementary School.
The ES homeroom teacher will work collaboratively in a learning community to develop units of inquiry, assessment strategies congruent with WAB's curriculum guidelines.
The ES homeroom teacher will, whenever appropriate, employ an inquiry-based approach and differentiate lessons to support the learning styles of individual students. The ES homeroom teacher is expected to contribute to the extra curricular activities of the school and be involved in school development. The ES homeroom teacher is responsible to the ES administration for implementing the PYP curriculum, assessment and reporting processes.

Skills in inquiry based and concept driven approaches
Creativity, resilience and love of diversity
At least two years working experience:
As a full time elementary Teacher in a classroom setting
With a diverse range of students including those with EAL, learning support and enrichment needs (preferred)
Teaching IB PYP (preferred)
Recognized Teaching Qualification
Recognised teacher registration
Completed IB PYP workshop (preferred)
